ABS Box
These are 200mm x 200mm x 130mm waterproof boxes. Numerous uses. I use them in place of the Blue Metal boxes I used to use to make the controllers for the 3Kw elements I sell.

Stainless Steel Component Cabinet.
I now have a few Stainless Steel Cabinets. These are designed as electrical control cabinets as they have a stainless steel outer skin with a stainless component plate on the inside with 4 retaining nuts for the component plate. But they can have numerous uses.
The picture seems to show the box without a back but the box is a complete box with a solid back.
The door has a lift and twist handle with locking and two keys. There is also a moisture-reduction waterproof seal fitted to the door. There are also two pre-drilled 32mm holes with grommets supplied as blanking should they not be required.
External size 30cm x 25cm x 15cm. (Approx 12″ T x 9.75″ W 7.5″ D) Internal component plate 20cmT x 19cmW and about a .25″ Standoff to allow for the fix of components to plate. ( Approx 8″ x 7.5″ ) These are ideal for small control Panels.

Silicone Pot Lid Seal
Silicone Edging Strip.
Ideal for sealing the edges of pots to make them steam proof when distilling. No more flour paste. It can also be used for making the edges of metal and glass shelves safe. In fact, it can be used for numerous edge coverings. I like the distilling option. I only have one size. This is a heavy-duty U shape silicone seal.
It is particularly suited to the larger pots of around 35Lts I have for sale.
5mm internal U will stretch to accommodate a 5mm to an 8mm pot rim. The leg of the U is approximately 9mm long/deep. All in all a very useful sealing tool. 35lt pots take approximately 1.2mts to go around the rim of the pot.
Sold by the metre at £3.00 per mt, 5 meters and over sent 1st class post.
Alternatively, you may buy it by the foot at £1.65 per foot a little more expensive as I get more waste on short lengths.
I have often been asked how or if the ends can be glued together. The answer is no. ( Unless you know of a glue that bonds to silicone.) The best way to seal the ends is with food-safe silicone. Fit the edging to the pot rim making sure not to stretch it because it will shrink back. But the ends together so you have a snug fit. Lift each end of the seal for about 1″ Squirt some food-safe silicone on the pot’s rim. Replace the edging strip. Place a piece of something that silicone does not stick to over the joint i.e. plastic bag, greaseproof paper, masking tape or similar. Refit your lid and fasten the clips if using lid clips. Leave for a day so that the silicone can cure. This will last for quite a while and form a perfect seal. When it fails just repeat the process.

Glass Thumper
Glass Thumper made from a brand new jar.
Kilner Jars are suitable for use with heat and pressure so should be fine as a thumper jar. If used sensibly it lasts for years. I use one myself for a while and found it worked very well and did not have any problems.
Let it heat up naturally and cool down naturally no heat or cold shocks and it will be fine. The main feed in and out is 15mm. The top of the jar is a 28mm tee with a 28mm union connection to the jar so it can be removed for cleaning. To read the measurements click on the photographs.

Hose Clamps
Hose Clamps.
I have a small selection of hose clamps. These are plastic with a ratchet type action. I was very sceptical about these until I used them a few times. Now I am very happy to use them even on the hot water side of things. They need to be fitted with a pair of pump pliers as you cannot squeeze them up be hand. Push them sideways and they are undone ready to be used on something else.
10mm and 12mm are Black the 16mm are White.
Amazingly easy to fit and undo. No threads to strip or screw driver slots to get misshaped. Plus they are cheap. Win win all round.

Thermometer
Thermometer 80mm Diameter
These are lovely things very practical and nice to look at. The dial is marked in Centigrade and Fahrenheit. The thermometer has a threaded base that screws into a socket on a 2” tri-clamp base.
This allows it to be fitted anywhere there is a tri-clamp port. Wrap some PTFE tape around the thread to seal.

Digital Thermometer. Degrees C and Degrees F at the press of a button. Fits the same as Analogue Thermometers. Unscrew the old one and replace it with the new one. The digital ones need an AAA battery that is not supplied as the postal service does not permit batteries in equipment in the post. Fitting, wrap some PTFE tape around the thread to seal. Use the spanner fit on the dial to tighten not the dial itself. £24.99 + P&P.
Brass Wire Wheels and Polish Mops

I have a small selection of Brass Wire Wheels. REAL BRASS WIRE, not the coated sort. These are a joy to use especially on copper and stainless.
The wire is softer and less scratchy. They do not mark the metal like the wire, wire wheels do all are about 20mm wide. Sizes are approximate.200mm comes with 16mm reducers.

Polishing Mops.
These are the soft lose leafed cotton fabric mop heads. They will fit on most pigtail spindles.
They are 8” 200mm by approximately 15mm wide wheels. Ideal for the final polish. Price wise these are a steal at £13.00 each. They are 50 leaf stitched wheels one has a 4mm centre and one has a 12mm centre hole. The 4mm centre will fit pigtails up to around 10/12mm and the 12mm one is suitable for pigtails above 12mm or a solid spindle with a nut retainer for the wheel. The centres can be enlarged to suit almost any size of spindle.

Electric Metal Cutting
Metal Cutting Nibbler
I purchased a few of these machines mainly because they have the capacity to cut 2.5mm Stainless Steel and 4mm Mild steel. The reason behind this was to cut stainless steel beer kegs. They come with a spare cutter blade as standard. I also have some spare cutter legs for want of a better description. That is the part that fits into the head of the machine that holds the blade. The head of the machine can be turned and locked into numerous positions. It is supplied with a plastic carry case, two handles, a head wrench, an Allen key, a spare cutter blade and a 13amp adapter.

Copper Rivets
Copper Rivets
Copper Rivets are the ideal way to attach the Lid Clips to your pot. They form a good waterproof seal whilst holding the spring lid clip in position.
The Rivets are 4mm in Ø and 6mm in length. Sold in 10s and 20s for £4.00 + p&p

Mini Sanding Discs
These discs are ideal for cleaning up solder over slash. If you have a lathe then that is even better for cleaning up the solder on straight pieces of pipe with a hack saw blade and sandpaper.
Failing that these discs do a very good job with a little practise. I have two sizes of grit. 120 Grit and 240 Grit. The discs are approx 20mm in diameter and 4mm in thickness the shaft is 30mm long and 3mm thick. They are ideal for Dremel-type tools.
I am selling them in 10s. £2.90 + P&P, unfortunately, they will be a small parcel as they are over the 1″ in size allowed for a large letter.

Stainless Steel Pot Lid Clips
Lid Clips can be fitted with nuts and bolts or rivets.
They are approximately 120mm in length and have a 23mm handle to 33mm wide spring clip end. Because the clips are suitable to be riveted in as I do with copper rivets they can be fitted with brass or stainless nuts and bolts. Do not use stand metal nuts and bolts.
A very useful item used in conjunction with the Silicone Pot Rim Seal. The lid clips are a good size for making the seal around your pot.
Lid Clips can be fitted with nuts and bolts or rivets. I normally drill another hole in the clip to suit the situation. Larger pots are far better and easier to work with so rivets are the better option.
Small pots are very hard to get the hammer in with the rivet guide to round over so nuts and bolts may be a better option.
Put the countersunk bolt/screw on the outside of the pot with the nut on the inside so it does not foul the clip.
