Hillbilly Flute Sight Glass.
This is a very robust item. I bought them in when the Flute Still Column was most popular but now they seem to have gone off the favourites list. Just gathering dust.
The copper piece comes as a straight cut end I shaped the one in the photo to fit a 54mm copper tube just to show it can be done. A Pedestal Sander with a 2″ spindle is ideal for the job. I have two different types as can be seen in the photos.

Copper to Stainless Ferrule Adapters. These are ready for you to solder to the copper tube with no need to try and stick stainless to copper. It’s done. I only have the ones on sale here so please don’t ask for something else.

This is a returned display 30L Gin Still never used in earnest.
It includes everything ready to go into production.
The pictures were taken in the shop it was displayed in apart from the last 5 pictures.
Everything you need is included. This is all Stainless Steel.
Boiler 30L with two sight glasses, 1 x 2” fill port, thermometer, two 3 Kw Elements, along with drain tap and an 8Kw SS Control Box. The elements are also wired-ready. Just need to be connected to controller as this complicates packing.
3” Glass Column complete with copper bubble plates. Will need to be assembled. Rods and nuts supplied.
1 x 4” Dephlegmator.
1 x 4” Gin Basket,
1 x 2” x 45cm Condenser,
1 x Parrot.
8Kw SS Controller This need a 6mm T&E supply or better still a 10mm supply. If you decide to use one 3Kw element 2.5mm T&E or better still 4mm T&E cable.
All reducers included. As I said all you need is a wash to put in the boiler.
All gaskets and clamps are included. There are also water lines, elbows, Y connectors, and water regulators.
There is a slight dent in the boiler under the fill port as can be seen in the pictures. Good ol carries. This could be almost knocked out with care.
Items like this are best collected. I am in Manningtree Essex but it can be shipped for around £80.00. The buyer will be responsible for any shipping damage.
